We are pleased to share key insights from the latest SATI report on the 2023/2024 Table Grape Season: – 74.1 million cartons exported (4.5 kg each, totaling 333,673 tons).
– 77% of exports destined for the EU & UK.
– Export Growth: A significant 16% increase in the number of cartons, tons, and containers from the previous season.
The top exported varieties were Crimson Seedless, Sweet Globe (IFG Ten), Sweet Celebration (IFG 68-I75), Prime, and Autumncrisp. These varieties now account for 50% of the planted hectares in South Africa.
